Know Waste Eiva Arts Foundation
Created by the Eiva Arts Foundation, a month long project which involved children in hands-on artistic workshops and lessons, teaching them about excess waste reduction through artistic means. Beginning in May 2019, famous Armenian contemporary artist, Arsen Navasardi, led the workshop with a group of nearly 50 children and involved them in both upcycled and recycled art activities. They learned how to give new life to old things and also use plastic waste to create new artforms. The workshops concluded in the creation of a sculpture, which was on display with an accompanying video piece at the Armenia Art Fair.
