FROM AN IDEA TO REALISATION
Usually, we see the result of the creating process, the final picture which hide significant emotional, intellectual, research and cognitive layers. The project is aimed at studying and presenting the stages of creating an artwork. The unique exhibition featuring various types of art presents the process of finding, creating and forming of artistic ways and revealing the artist’s ‘cuisine’, sometimes hard-to-find.
The exposition which displays the latest (current) stage of Aram Isabekyan’s and Arthur Hovhannisyan’s creative process invites you to see the ‘invisible’ aspect of the artistic activity. It could be an object causing an idea, a book, a video …, studies, sketches, notes and others made on the way from an idea to realization.
The exhibition has brought together two Armenian artists of utterly different cultural developments and perceptions. Their actually different principles and thinking encircled in the same versatile outline, form an artistic atmosphere of free coexistence and dialogue.
The exposition will be supplemented with annotations and thematic explanations.
