KAROYAN GALLERY was opened in2016 as the successor of several private art galleries initiated by Nazareth Karoyan. Continually challenging the way things have been done in the past, whether through a reinvention of what’s done within gallery walls or what’s created outside of them, this gallery is embracing the expansion of existing and new mediums. Featuring contemporary art by emerging and established regional, national and international artists, KAROYAN GALLERY exhibits works in a variety of mediums and is often at the forefront of challenging gallery norms. The gallery was founded on the principle of putting on exhibitions, performances and events with an emphasis on borrowed space and a nomadic lifestyle while fostering relationships with collectors and institutions.
