ArtAm is an Armenian Contemporary Art Gallery in a specially made exhibition space in the public areas of Zvartnots International Airport. Was opened from 2016 has exposed 35 artists and photographers.
The airport is frequented by people of different professions, aims and cultures. Organizing exhibitions in public areas such as the VIP Lounge and Departure hall give the opportunity to show Armenian contemporary art to big groups of people of different nationalities and professions. Also the promotion of the gallery and exposed works are made on all monitors of Zvartnots Airport which widens the
possibility for exposition.
In addition, coordinator and curator of ArtAm Gallery, Armine Tumanyan has organized exhibitions for embassy events, in hotels art evenings called “Art, Wine and Tango”, traveling exhibition to Ukraine, Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk. Participating in Art Fair we hope to widen cooperation with other galleries and artists from Armenia and from abroad.
