4Plus is an initiative by Armenian women photographers with the aim to develop documentary photography and to empower women in Armenian and beyond. Empowering not only women photographers, and women in general, but all those whose rights are being violated, by bringing their issues to light, has been the core of our activity. Each one of us has been committed to documenting social issues, violations of human rights and visualizing cultural particularities for many years. Our team works on photographic projects collectively and individually. We also organize workshops, exhibitions and lectures, in partnership with enlightening individuals and organizations who join us our cause. Currently 4plus members are Nazik Armenakyan, Anahit Hayrapetyan, Piruza Khalapyan and Nelly Shishmanyan.
